Tom O'Connor is a new member to the TOPS community as of September 2004. Before coming to TOPS, he taught 10th grade world history and AP US history at Nathan Hale High School. Prior to moving to Seattle, Tom lived in New York City and worked at The Beacon School and as a professional modern dancer. Tom has a BA in History and Dance from Connecticut College and an MA in Social Studies Education from Teachers' College/ Columbia University.

In addition to working at TOPS, Tom teaches history at Rainier Scholars. He loves spending time with his wife, road trips, cooking, and listening to music.
