Leslie Nilan

I grew up in a suburb near Denver,
Colorado and received my BA in Elementary
Education/Early Childhood Education from the
University of Northern Colorado. After
substitute teaching in the Denver area for three
years, I moved to northern Arizona to teach on
the Navajo Reservation for seven years. In
1992, I relocated to Seattle and began working
for Seattle Public Schools. I was also employed
as a tutor for Treehouse, a non-profit
organization for high risk children, from 1995 -
2000.
