TOPS Soccer
TOPS middle school boys' soccer takes place during the spring; girls' soccer takes place in the fall.
Boys' Soccer, Spring 2008
To all Middle School Boys Interested In Playing Soccer:
My name is Daniel Humes and I am looking forward to coaching the TOPS Boys Soccer team this year. My experience includes playing select with the Magnolia Juventus, Ballard High School and Evergreen State College. I enjoy working with kids and want to encourage anyone who wants to participate on the TOPS team to come out and participate.
Practices will be Mondays and Wednesdays from 3:30 – 5:00 at Rogers Field
Practices start Wednesday, Feb 27th. Players should come prepared with cleats, shin guards and water. Players will not have time to go to the store before practice as we will be starting practice at 3:30 and want to encourage healthy snacks and water rather then candy and pop.
Games:
Games will be on Saturday mornings at different fields throughout the city beginning in mid March. Here is the 2008 game schedule.
For those of you that play on club or rec. teams:
I STRONGLY encourage you to come out for the TOPS team! It is a lot of fun playing with your friends from school and a completely different experience from your other team. I just need to know at the beginning of the season what the conflicts and limitations will be.
All players need to have a Seattle School District Athletic Registration and Physical form on file in order to participate.
Please contact Daniel with any questions at snowduc@aol.com or (206) 683-9563
Don and Eric will be the TOPS contacts and can be reached at (206) 252-3516 or dwzemke@seattleschools.org; elherndon@seattleschools.org.
