Community Engagement Meetings–
Curriculum Alignment
One of the key strategies of the Seattle Public School's strategic plan, Excellence for All, is to align curriculum across the district to provide consistently high standards in every classroom.
Seattle Public Schools will be holding four Community Meetings between November 23 and December 1 to discuss the alignment work and provide more information about the upcoming instructional materials.

TOPS SWAPS
BRING gently used clothing, outerwear, shoes, accessories to TOPS
Monday Nov. 16–Thursday Dec. 3
Our extended TOPS family is large, so we need lots of swappable items! We are accepting all sizes, from baby through adult, for both males and females.
Please, nothing torn or stained!
SHOP for New-to-You, FREE Clothing
Friday, Dec. 04 from 3:30–5:30 • Saturday Dec. 5 from 10 to noon.
Clothing will be sorted by size and gender to make it easier to find just the right items for your family. Your child may shop on their own, with volunteer supervision, but we prefer parent participation (These types of events usually offer great wardrobe treasures for adults!) Any items left after the event will be donated to local non-profits.
We need a handful of volunteers for sorting and staffing.

The Seattle school district has released a new student assignment plan that was approved by the school board on November 18th.
