TOPS (The Option Program at Seward) is an alternative K-8 public school dedicated to giving our students a complete education while emphasizing themes of social justice and citizenship.  Our central location and status as an Option school, open to students from all over the city, make for a diverse student population which both complements and demands teaching empathy, acceptance, and responsibility to others.

2014 Summer Camps

Eric’s Ever-Popular Sports Camp: June 23-27, June 30-July 4, and July 7-11. Please contact Eric or pick up a form from the main Office.

Art4Kids: Fused glass, clay (sculpture & wheelwork), drawing, painting, block carving & printing, and silkscreen takes place in teacher Luzita Roll's TOPS K-8 art room. Half day or full day options, Monday – Friday, are available during the weeks of June 23 (now full), June 30 and July 7. Before and after care are also available.  Note: new this year, four additional weeks of art camp for 10-15 year olds at our Latona Studio just off I-5, 50th St Exit. Registration available at www.art4kidsnw.com.

Summer Game Design Camps with Michael Adams (game designer who sold 22 games to the likes of Mattel, Hasbro, and Gamewright). Email to reserve a spot in one of the three weeks: July 7-11, July 21-25, or July 28 – August 1 (M-F 9am-3pm, $250 per 1-week camp), or with any questions.

Sailing at the Center for Wooden Boats: Registration is open to students in 2nd grade – 8th grade. Forms can be picked up from Don in the gym office, or email him to request a form: .
